This numbing pain isn't exactly what I asked for, but somehow I foresaw it, so much earlier than I intended myself to. And when I thought it was over, that the pain had somehow miraculously passed, that exact second was the moment I knew it never did. And somehow, unconsciously, I counted the days left, and unconsciously, too, everything inside me started to build up. A force too powerful urging to be let out, to be seen, to be felt. A force that kills me from within. Something that made me remember everything I thought I've long forgotten. And I was selfish, I was ignorant to let it take over me, control me, possess me. And I held that little bit of physical remembrance of your existence so close to my heart, and I knew then that for the eternity that shall come, it would see the world together with me. Always.
And just like that, you'll remain in my little box of precious memories, somewhere in the deep corner of my heart. Always.
