Truthfully, I do not believe in devoting oneself and one's whole existence to loving another.
I do not believe in the idea of being incomplete without having another figure, another human being to complete you. I think we are all pretty self-sufficient and very much complete the way we are.
I do not like the idea of not being able to function if that person you believe completes your being leaves.
I think that is all exaggerated. This life is not a fairytale.
Having someone to love, and loves you, that's fantastic. Yes, life might be better with them around. But that doesn't mean life does not go on without them.
The only thing that your life needs is you. That's the core of it, or else it would cease to exist. the Everything else is a choice. An option.
So choose wisely.
Stop limiting life to that superficial love and only that. Because I believe true love exists when you are willing to lose the love you love most.
