How unfortunate is it to be loved by a silent lover like me.
I do not know how to speak the words of love
Even when I know you yearn to hear it.
I cannot stop fidgeting as the foreign words travel from my heart up my throat down between my trembling lips.
I only know how to spend hours and hours with you
And sing you the sweetest love songs
And hold your hand until my own is sore
And wake you up with kisses on your eyes.
That's the loudest proclamation of love I am capable of.
All I could ever do
All I could ever be.
How unfortunate it is to be loved by someone who loves silently.
